Linking tracking within the website

Postby MArkone on Mon Nov 17, 2003 8:32 am

:idea: I don't know if this would be possible. But could you identify what link someone clicked on in the site. For example someone ends up at your site they click a link in the top navigation to go to the next page, this page has two different types of navigation (image map and top navigation) did the visitor click the image map or the top navigation to move to the next page?

Image or navigation is not possible i think. But i hope for: analysis of the visitors' clickpaths:

:: Index.html ::
index.html -> Features 34 (19%) -> Download 12 (9%) -> News 9 (4%)
index.html -> News 125 (55%) -> Download 34 (16%) -> Features 17 (3%)

:: news.html ::
news.html -> Features 12 (19%) -> Download 56 (19%) -> News 34 (14%)
news.html -> index 125 (75%) -> Features 17 (3%) -> Download 34 (16%)

etc.

and

average Time spend per page !

index.html -> 10 sec.
news.html -> 24 sec.
Download.html -> 13 sec.

etc.
