I love your script. It is just fantastic. I would like to record bookmarks if it is possible. Do you have a plug in for this?

Let me know

Bob

Do you mean you want to see what bookmarks other people have on their computers?

If so, then i think you'll find that is impossible. Invasion of privacy is what it would fall under in my eyes Smile

OF COURSE NOT. I want to know when someone bookmarks one of our pages. Bookmarking our pages means that the surfer wants to come back. Some people say that this money in the bank

Once again I will repeat. We would like to know when on of our pages has been Boodmarked. or if you like added to "My Favorites"

Thanks for you quick reply.

The only way of doing this is by recording hits on the file "favicon.ico". Not only is this inaccurate (this file is often requested many times by IE plugins), it is also impossible to do in pphlogger because pphlogger needs to be called from a page of html.

Most forms of adding the bookmark to IE mean the user has to open their favourites and actually click "add bookmark".

You could however use the Javascript way of adding a bookmark (No code as i don't know it).
In theory you could redirect them to a page that adds the bookmark automatically and record hits on that page.

Might work.

This relies on the user using your javascript link to add the site to their bookmarks rather than using their browser controls. I know which one I'd rather use.

Of course, but it's an option Smile

I personally always use my own controls.
