I have installed and set up PPhlogger with no problems.

I have added the code to 4 web pages on my site as a test and I have uploaded the PPhlogger.js file.

When I go to my website and click on the pages, I even wait for a minute or two, but there is no record of the activity when I log into PPhlogger.

From the homepage click on Industrial Advertsing and when inside the site, About Us, Contact Us and Home

Any ideas please

Thanks for the fast reply. The website is www.footedge.com
the Pphlogger site is www.footedgestage.com

I haven't password protected the Admin folder yet - go to
http://www.footedgestage.com/pphlogger/admin/setup.php

When I set up my account

supranos
tf8525

it generated this code

you will notice that it didn't add .com to the address.

I set up an account on your server and it worked. I have copied the code that your server created and changed it to mine, but it still doesnt seem to work.

Thanks
for the help

My code is different Smile
I modified mine to create different outputs, hence why it's not working correctly for you.

At the moment, your server is returning an error saying that it can't connect to the database, so i can't look into it at the moment.

It just sounds like you haven't set the URL correctly in your setup script.
The .js file is generated based on variables in setup.php, so it is vital those details are correct.

David,

I have seen a version of this that shows all the pages that a visitor has visited and the search engine that they came from, does this version do that?

Regards
Tony

www.footedge.com - username: footedge, password: tf8525

www.pmmarch.com - username: pmmarch, password: puswilow

Have you added the code to every page that you want logged?

This version allows you to track multiple pages, but you need the code on evert page to do that Smile

I have added it to 4 pages and I have repeatedly clicked on them.

If you log onto http://www.footedgestage.com/pphlogger/index.php

username: footedge, password: tf8525, and click on - [ visitor paths on ], it will not change the default to on or off, it stays on.

All the others - [ turn showref on ] [ full agent on ] [ mp titles on ]
work fine, they change to off. [ visitor paths on ] will not change.

At the bottom, it shows me that there have been 7 page views.

regards
Tony

Ok, you've added the code correctly to your pages but you haven't pointed the script to the right location of pphlogger.js

http://www.footedge.com/website/media/index.html

The above URL is looking for a pphlogger.js file located at:
http://www.footedge.com/website/media/

You need to make sure your paths are correct. For instances, on the URL above, you would use code like so:

Code:

Hope that helps Smile

David,

I completely reloaded the software and the [ mp titles on ] now works.
I have also discovered that my ISP blocks the details about multipages.

I got a friend to look at my site and as he went through it I could see all the pages he looked at.

All working now, Thanks for your help.
I am now going to make a donation to the cause.

regards
Tony

Do you run a firewall?
It's probably that blocking the referring information, not your ISP.
I know Norton firewall blocks referring information by default, which to be quite honest, is a pain in the arse.
You should be able to toggle this in your firewall if that is the case.

I took my firewall down and it still happens, so I think it is my ISP

Thanks

Unusual. It could be your router if you're on broadband.
Or maybe even some other privacy software.
