Hello,

I just installed phlogger a few days back. Played with the script, with the setup etc. My problem is that I have arund 2000 unique visitors per day that visit around 10 pages each creating 1GB traffic daily. Logging this bunch creates 1 MB per day of logfiles in my database. I can tolerate around 45 MB per month which then has to get deleted. Now, i have gone through this forum, used the search engine and tried to figure out some script that could delete my database at the end of each month through a Cron Job. I don't know how to script that. Other thing, is it possible to solve this in the setup.php ? If yes how ? Am thankful for any help.

Best regards,

Webslave.

In setup.php, setup the log limit to one that is suitable for your high hit counts.
It will delete logs as and when it starts to get above the limit you set.

Yeah, something like that Smile

I have mine setup to start removing logs after a certain amount personally. That way, if one day has less than the others, it will only start to get removed when the limit is reached.

But for your system, removing them after 30-31 days is probably best Smile
