Hello,
I recently moved my websites to a new dedicated server. I mantain the same addresses, mysql password and so on... but, obviuosly, I grab all the data from one server and put in the new one.
Since this data translation, I've encoutered a problem with pphlogger. Only some visits are logged! The strange think is that ALL page 'reloads' are logged. See the pictures belove:

This is a capture of unique visits [the part with the problem]

This other is a capture of all visits, include the reloads [the part that is ok]

When I go to logs... I see only the visits logged in the first picture. What's wrong? Why the "page visits" are ok, and the unique visit no? Why in logs I see only 'some' visits?

Thanks a lot for the help... and sorry for my poor english (this evening is really bad!)

Jacopo

Have you changed the code logging your pages at all?
Is it maybe redirecting the wrong server or something?

No, I don't change anything 'cause the domain names are the same.

Does the counter still work?
As in, does the image still show when you click on Profile from a user login?

Any errors occuring? Server logs? PHP logs?

I see a strange thing: the counter logs only visit made by computer with a IP pool (or made through a proxy with this ip group): host9-5.pool8248.interbusiness.it.

Why? In this ip range is not included my server, but is included my own pc... the pc used to made the sign up!

Rolling Eyes?!

Jacopo

PS: if you want I give you the passw to view the situation... thankzzzzz

Could you PM me the URL to a PHP info file?

I suspect it could be something to do with that.
There's been similar problems where some IP setup hasn't been correct for a user.

Your problem appears to be mirroring the following thread:

http://forum.phpee.com/viewtopic.php?t=2807

It's to do with your server setup.
Have a read of that thread.
