I recently moved to a new server. Its running php 5. My hits are no longer being recorded, infact i am not getting any information. I can log into the account but site stats cannot be tracked anymore. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem?

I can't say i've had the chance to look at PPHLogger running on PHP5.
Do you receive any errors?
It could be the way in which PHP5 handles OO programming differently. But i'm not too sure that PPHLogger is entirely OO based..

Do you have an error log that you are able to see for your website at your hosts? This may hold some more clues.
Anymore information you can give is useful!

I had the administrator have a look at the logs and there were not any errors. It is possible its due to some settings with php5. I have listed a url where the php 5 settings can be viewed below:

I'm not really too up on the differences between PHP 4 and 5, so i'm not a great deal of help when it comes to look for problems in a PHP info file!

The one thing i did notice though in you call the pphlogger.js file, you have a / prepending the pphlogger.js part.
Try removing that and see if that's to cause. It could be the script is trying to find domain.com//pphlogger.js

Of course i'm running the logger!
I'm running it on PHP version 4.3.4

I can't say i've come across anyone running it on PHP 5 yet. I do know that next release of PPHLogger, version 3, will only be compatible with PHP 5 and MySQL 4.

i have the same problem with PHP5 and pphlogger. I can log in to the admin-interface and to the user interface, but nothing ist logged anymore since the server was updated to PHP5...
I don't get any errors and have no access to the error logs.
Where you able to fix the problem, wonderer999 ?
It will be a reall hassle if i would have to switch to another logging script.
I had to fix some stuff on my own page to get it to work on PHP5 and the errors causing the whole thing not to work anymore can be as small as defining a variable twice.
I can't check the whole pphlogger script for stuff like that... Confused

It could be to do with the global variables used to grab data.
I think a lot of them are set to $HTTP_POST and $HTTP_GET and so on.
I believe PHP5 has eliminated those in return for $_POST and $_GET. Likewise with $_SERVER, $_SESSION and $_COOKIE.

My guess is you'll have to find those variables and change them to the appropriate ones for PHP5.
