Can anyone tell me why parts of the calendar page do not display. I have just reloaded everything onto my computer after a new hard drive and RAM were installed.

I presume you mean the images for the calendar down the bottom?

If that is the case, then you'll probably find that you need to install GD as it isn't functioning in your PHP installation.

Thanks for the reply. My understanding is that the GD or Graphics Library is nothing to do with my wewbsite but rather in the php installation of the server that my website is on. This would seem strange as everything was visible until I put a new hard drive in my computer.

Is there some file that I need to upload or is it purely a case of altering the php configuration by the server owner?

It looks to me like GD disappeared on the web server.
If you can provide me a guest login to your stats page, i can verify that for you Smile

PM me the details if you don't want to reveal them on the board. You can do that by clicking the link on my signature.

Thanks again.

If you go to http://www.cerberus.com.au/pphlogger/index.php and use the
username guest and
password user

you should see the problem.

Yeah, either GD needs to be recompiled into PHP or one of the other modules such as TTF support.
You'll notice that the counter image isn't working either.

Well my webhost installed GD on the server but the images are still missing. They do not believe that TTF support is relevant for displaying images. Any other ideas as to cause of the images on the calendar not displaying would be most welcome.

It may not be relevant to displaying normal images, but bear in mind most of the images use a TTF font for the text...

i had the same problem, to which david pointed out was the GD library, reinstalling the gd library got the calendar images back but not the visible counter images, which also needed truetype activated.

Is it working now? was it the GD or some other problem Smile

Showing my website provider the results of phpinfo.php convinced them that GD was not enabled and they enabled it. All is well as of an hour ago.
