I'm getting very occassionally pages that don't contain the logging code appearing in the logs??

Even the pphlogger.js file
(example from the stats page)

..c04/results/TopClub.htm 146 Jan 12, 2004
..esults/BagcatDetail.htm 111 Jan 12, 2004
/pphlogger.js 1 Feb 29, 2004

Any ideas why?? And how do I stop it.

Thanks Gavin

You might well have a page being called inside a page that is triggering this logging.
Could you provide me a URL to an example online so i can take a look for myself?

PM me the details if you don't want to reveal them on the board.

David

David,

Thanks for taking a look.

Having had a look at the logs it's interesting that you've not seen this type of behavior before, and can't see any reason why. Perhaps I should note it as a "bug" on the appropriate forum?

Has anyone else seen this same problem? (Pages listed in the logs as having small numbers of visitors - but the pages don't contain the logging code). I've even got the pphlogger.js file being logged as receiving hits on one site!

Thanks,

Gavin
