You cant use the PHP code, simple.
You need to use the HTML code provided. Add it to part of the PHP script you want to log.

You are correct, you have to use a path with the PHP version, which won't work on different servers.

Lets say you have an HTML script like so:

PHP:

echo 'This is my website';

?>

To add the HTML to it, you'd do the following:

PHP:
php

echo 'This is my website';

?>

My HTML code can go here for the logger

?>

Simply replace the part that tells you where the HTML code goes with the HTML code from the logger software.
